So here we are, new year, new chapter.

CHANGELOG (Shard of My Soul version 1.1 - chapter 2):

• continuation of Kat's story (also including 3 animated scenes)
• outfit customization (You can now choose Kat's outfit via menu of the left side. Also, her appearance can have effect on other people, and can change how they treat her.)
• new expressions for several characters
• 4 new achievements
• new (and better) stats (New internal stat management system enables consistent and detailed dialogs, options and character development.)
• fixes and improvements of some character images
• fixes and improvements of several scenes in chapter 1 (eg. missing cutlery, people sitting in the air, overlays, hair)
• fixes and improvements of several clothing items (shading, left/right side consistency)
• for some images, more suitable downsampling algorithm was used to improve quality
• minor dialogue fixes
• layered character images (That allows for wider range of expressions and also results in smaller overall size.)
• smaller image sizes (Most images were converted losslessly from PNG to WEBP.)

For those who'd like to read a bit about the development, here are several random insights concerning chapter 2:

• Chapter 2 has more content than chapter 1 - I was able to deliver it before the end of the year only because I started working on it before I've even released chapter 1 (and also because I used my saved vacation days to crunch it just before holidays).
• Chapter 3 will probably continue this trend - it seems there will be a bit more content than in chapter 2, and different paths might start to diverge a bit more. Yes, I'm intentionally vague, because I have just begun to work on it. That's also the reason I'm not giving any kind of release date estimate yet.
• My workflow has improved significantly, especially compared to the ancient days of 2022 when I was creating the first chapter. Less rewriting, less art fixing, better dialog structure, clearer focus. It's still not optimal, but it's getting better for sure.
• I was thinking a bit about some potential bonuses for patrons (and also for non-patrons). If you have any ideas, please share them on Discord (https://discord.gg/vqjE4uaZQs). One option I think could be interesting is a poll for clothes for the next chapter - either Kat's clothes or of some other character (I'm sure Theresa and Hanna would also like to update their wardrobe).
